Baylus Brooks has done a lot of new research into the life and career of Edward “Blackbeard” Teach and presents it in his new book “Quest For Blackbeard”.
As history’s most famous pirate, Blackbeard has led many to dig into his life for details of his exploits. Â Was he a bloodthirsty pirate or a successful businessman? Â Outlaw or backed by land-based merchants?
All that and more apparently.  And Baylus Brooks has some interesting information he’s gleaned from his research.  In our interview we dig into a bunch of stuff about our famous pirate’s past that you probably haven’t heard about  before.
We’ll talk about some of his other books as well. But Baylus tells us the new one is the place to be for all the his most up to date info.
