Sam Siegel is a man with a dream. After a work injury his friend told him he should become a pirate. So he bought a ship. But she’s not quite seaworthy yet.  This is the story of a work in progress.

We’ll find out Sam’s background in Revolutionary War reenactments, how he came to pirates, how he got the schooner Pursuit, and what he’s planning on doing with her when she’s all fixed up.

Besides Sam’s story of the schooner Pursuit, there’s tons of great little history tidbits in here about pirates during the Revolutionary War and the birth of the American Navy.  Lots of cool info here that I didn’t know about.  And river pirates!
