Morgan Molthrop is a former Wall Street investment banker turned New Orleans expert and author. Â His current book “Jean Lafitte’s Pirate Code: 17 Strategies for Acquiring Until Fortune from America’s first Laissez Fair Capitalist” is part history book, part business book.
We don’t get to talk post-Golden Age stuff much on this show, so we have some fun digging into the War of 1812 and the Battle of New Orleans where Lafitte played a prominent part.
And we’ll hear about Morgan’s own trek back from the jungles of Wall St to his home in Louisiana and how he created his new life.
Plus comedy from Steve Sabo.
And I’ll let you know how many trombones is too many trombones.
