Marck Forget of Festival des Pirates

Marck Forget is a huge promoter of pirate entertainment in Canada.  He’s one of those guys whose name I’d seen around the pirate communities online and it was great fun to finally talk with him and hear about all his different projects.

Festival des Pirates is an online pirate festival helping to promote various pirate folk the world over.  Marck and his team are doing great stuff to bring pirate entertainment to the masses.

He’s got an online magazine, a Pirate of the Day photo, a pirate map the world, and lots more to come including a new pirate podcast!  Marck is about to become the Rupert Murdoch of the pirate world.  But with less sleaziness and phone hacking.

And we’ll dig into Marck’s pirate past and how a trip to Florida ignited a love of piracy in him and why.
