Shawn Cowles is a long time treasure hunter who started with Mel Fisher’s organization diving the Atocha. Since then he’s branched off on his own including hosting the Discover Channel show Treasure Quest.

We dig into Shawn’s origin story including a fortuitous meeting with Mel Fisher himself. You’ll hear a harrowing tale of one particular dive. And we dive into what he’s had to learn in his new land-based treasure hunt for the Sacambaya treasure in Bolivia.
