Naufragant is a pirate metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina. And this is a fun interview with the band’s singer, Franco Tempesta. We get into the trials they’ve had in naming the band (formerly Skull and Crossbones), why the decided to do a concept album based on Treasure Island, the filming for the video of “The Chest of Billy Bones” (which you can see below), and what it’s like to be “different” in the music business.
You’ll also hear the sounds of Buenos Aires in the background at a few points, so don’t freak out if you’re listening while driving and you hear sirens. 🙂
